The Queensland Bottle Tree, scientifically known as Brachychiton rupestris, is a very magnificent and iconic tree indigenous to Australia, specifically Queensland. What distinguishes it is its unusual, inflated, bottle-shaped trunk, which can grow to astonishing dimensions and has smooth, pale grayish-white bark. The large, leathery leaves make a striking contrast to the huge trunk. The Queensland Bottle Tree represents hardiness and cultural value, making it a treasured and iconic symbol of the Australian Outback. However, this Bottle Tree has been brought from Japan.

Bright, indirect light

Water Level Requirement:

Check the moisture level of the soil regularly using a moisture meter or by inserting your finger about an inch into the soil. If it feels dry, it’s time to water.

Fertiliser:

Fertilize with all-purpose fertilizer once a month to encourage growth.
